Last day in Thailand!
I'll spend friday on planes and be back in Belgium on saturday.
This is the journal I've worked in while traveling :
I had a limited luggage weight so I couldn't bring every color of acrylic paint nor every pencil I wanted.
I'm used to travel with the Daler Rowney Caddy Box I bought at Paperchase in London about 5 years ago. I love it. It is very convenient. I never go on a trip without it. You never know when inspiration may strike.
Among the art supplies I didn't bring, there are 3 things I've missed so much : my pot of Golden white gesso, my pot of Golden fluid matte medium and my set square.
I thought the pages didn't need any preparation with gesso but they did. They always do!!!
I thought I would save weight by replacing my matte medium with that tiny Pritt glue pen you can see in the picture above. But I've missed the medium for whole other reasons than just gluing stuff : extending my acrylic colors and making fast image transfers.
Lesson learned.

back cover
I don't remember where I bought it. It was a long time ago and I've kept it for the day I would travel somewhere in Asia.
I've painted a lot in it but none of the spreads are finished. I want to work on them when I'll get back home. Then I'll show them to you.I had a limited luggage weight so I couldn't bring every color of acrylic paint nor every pencil I wanted.
